Community Spotlight: Ronia Grillos Brings Handcrafted Leather Hats to Castle Rock Artfest

This weekend, Castle Rock PEP member and leather hat artisan Ronia Grillos will bring her one-of-a-kind work to the Castle Rock Artfest in downtown Castle Rock.

Ronia creates hats from full hides of leather, carefully finishing each piece by hand. Her designs include hand-tooled western crowns, beaded and braided hatbands, and brims lined in contrasting leather. The result is wearable art with character, craftsmanship, and a story of its own.

The Castle Rock Artfest brings more than 110 artists together for a free, community-centered weekend in Festival Park:
