Simplifying retirement for all. One plan. Every business.

Plan Fees

Plan fees include a fixed administration fee, an asset-based fee, and a Payroll Integrations fee. The fixed administration fee is billed quarterly in advance and is not pro-rated; it can be paid directly by the employer or from participant accounts.

Participant CountQuarterly Fixed FeeAnnual Fixed Fee
0–50$8.75$35.00
51–100$7.50$30.00
101 & Above$6.25$25.00

Payroll Integrations Fee: A $250 annual fee applies for payroll integration services, billed to all new adopting employers.

Asset-Based Fees

The asset-based fee is charged pro-rata to participant accounts based on the plan’s total assets. For example, if the plan’s assets are $1,000,001, each account is assessed 0.55% annually (0.40% to Slavic Recordkeeping & Administration + 0.15% to Castle Rock Investment Advisory), deducted quarterly in arrears.

Please note: Investment expense ratios are not included in the fees outlined above. Expense ratios are charged by the individual mutual funds within the plan, not by Castle Rock or Slavic, and vary by fund. A full breakdown of available investment options and their expense ratios are listed on the Investments page.

Certain individual transactions — such as loans, hardship distributions, QDROs, and plan deconversion — carry separate one-time fees charged directly to the requesting participant’s account. Ask your PEP Talk consultant for the full transaction fee schedule.
